In 2021 me and a team of fellow Camberwell Graphic Design students pitched and won the oportunity to produce the Camberwell College of Arts UAL Graphic Design degree show.
Our concept- ‘HOT NEW GRAPHIC DESIGNERS IN YOUR AREA’ played upon the oversaturation of online degree shows in the Covid - summer of 2021. We took the idea of an internet pop-up advert and utilised this langauge to present our own show’s plea for online attention.
We designed the physical exhibition space to reflect this concept - suspended ‘pop-ups’ of our work brought the digital into the physical space. With both pixelated and fully realised images of our work being viewable in the gallery space depending on the viewer’s position.
